Perth’s Best Brunch Spots –  North Of The River

Canteen – Trigg

Canteen is your go-to for a casual brekky and brunch spot in Perth’s north. Overlooking one of Perth’s best surfing spots means it’s bustling with fresh-outta-the-ocean surfers, walkers and cyclists making a mandatory caffeine stop and families lining up for a pancake fix.

The Canteen menu items are takeaway-only, but don’t despair – this isn’t an average brekky burger joint. They have a focus on wholefoods and generous servings and their brunch trays are seriously next-level.

Menu highlights: Their house-smoked salmon, poached eggs, beetroot crunch and sourdough toast is so tasty and wholesome, you won’t need to eat for the rest of the day!

Opening hours:

  • Mon-Thurs | 6.30am-4.30pm
  • Fri-Sun |  6.30am – 7.30pm

Community Coffee Co. – Subiaco, Perth, South Perth⁣, Duncraig

Community Coffee Co. bridges the space between takeaway brunch and a comfy, dine-in experience.

The OG storefront in Subiaco established CCC as serious players not only in the Perth coffee scene but they bring their a-game with lip-smackingly good street food, too.

Menu highlights: These guys know a thing or two about good coffee and use their own locally roasted coffee: Loot Coffee.  And I can confirm each blend is as smooth as a Barry White solo – up there with the best cuppa I’ve had in Perth (big call, I know – but the coffee is that good).
